Flourish Women’s Group - Winter Quarter Recap
This past quarter, Flourish gathered to talk about what it really means to be fully known and fully loved by God. Together we spent time reading passages like Psalm 139:1–2 and 1 Samuel 16:7, reflecting on the powerful truth that God knows everything about us—the good and the bad—and still loves us completely.
Through these readings and discussions, we learned together that it’s one thing to say that God loves us, but it’s another thing to realize that He knows every part of who we are—our thoughts, our struggles, our questions—and His love for us doesn’t change. As we talked through these passages, we were reminded again and again that God doesn’t love a filtered or polished version of us. He loves the real us!
What was especially sweet about this quarter was how those conversations helped us get to know one another better, too. As we learned more about God’s heart toward us, we also began sharing more of our own stories. People brought their different perspectives and spiritual backgrounds to the table, asked honest questions about God, and opened up about things they’ve been learning in their faith.
And of course, there were plenty of lighter moments too—laughing together over childhood stories, funny memories, and the little things that make each of us who we are.
This quarter, Flourish became a space where we could experience a bit of what it looks like to be known and loved in community—growing in our understanding of God and building friendships along the way.
If you’re looking for a place to connect, ask questions, and grow in your faith alongside other women, we’d love for you to join us at Flourish in the Spring Quarter!
